Hello and Welcome!
My interest in computers and the WorldWideWeb began in 1994 and I broke out as a web developer on my own in 2001 learning and working from my home office in Houston, Texas. I have longstanding clients and some I've never personally met, but I consider them all my friends.
No, I don't fit the age/gender demographic of your usual web developer, (me-female,grandmother) but that doesn't stand in my way. I enjoy the adventure and where it's taking me.
As Gordon Moore, co-founder of Intel first observed in 1965 regarding the advancement of certain hardware technology doubling approximately every 2 years, so technology on the web has raced forward to such an extent as to require constant research and continuing education on what's available to web developers and how they can implement the new tools and methods at present.
It thrills me to discover what's new and what's around the corner to come...
